ACST3

Description

ACST3 is suitable for all versions of Tikka’s T3 and T3x bolt-action rifles. It is a drop in upgrade chassis, after installation and fixing of the stock screws it is ready for shooting.

The chassis of ACST3 is machined out of 7075 T6 aluminium billet and has a black hard coat anodized finish and features QD sling swivels sockets on both sides above the pistol grip. The fittings (grip, central part cover, cheek piece, buttstock side panels) are optionally made of walnut wood, polymer (synthetic) or composites (carbon).

Either of the two available foreends is a separate piece attached to the chassis. Handguard Lite was made with maximum functionality and weight optimisation and features M-LOK™ interface on all 8 sides while Handguard M on 6 sides as well as ARCA rail on the 6 o’clock. Both foreends feature QD sling swivel sockets at the very front, at 3 and 9 o’clock.

Both AKILA buttstocks are machined out of 7075 T651 aluminium billets and have a black hard coat anodized finish and features QD sling swivels sockets on both sides. Both buttstocks offer a possibility to adjust the cheek piece height and side, the length of pull, recoil pad height. Besides that Buttstock M features a built-in quick deployable and fine adjustable monopod and buttstock Lite has one MLOK™ slot to mount a monopod or a custom bag rider. The buttstock mounting point of the AKILA chassis is compatible with AR-15 receiver extensions, which will allow installing AR butt stocks. The buttstock folding can be user configured and folds to left or right sides of the chassis.

You can use the configurator to choose optional foreend and buttstock features. AKILA products are machined from high-grade aluminium and have a black hard coat anodized finish. All steel parts have special surface treatment that increases surface hardness, ensures improved wear and corrosion resistance. Only stainless steel screws are used in our products, to match the black colour we have treated these with special black bluing.

Polymer accents fittings are made from firearms grade black POM material. A rubberized grip produced by Ergo Grips is available in two models:

Walnut wood accent fittings are made from high grade walnut with oil finish. (Weight can slightly wary based on wood density).

Buttstock

Buttstock Lite

Should you prefer a buttstock without monopod and at the same time you would like to save some weight without compromises in functionality AKILA Buttstock Lite is the best choice. The skeletonized design maintained outstanding rigidity and all the adjustments that the Buttstock M has in a lighter body. Besides that Buttstock Lite feature M-LOK™ slot on the bottom rail so you can attach a custom bag rider or a monopod.

You can add unique functionality to your stock by choosing Folding Unit, you can choose which side to fold the buttstock. It is so natural to change your mind or want to adapt the rifle to a new environment or accessories, so we made the folding side user-configurable, within a couple of minutes you can reverse the folding side. The folding unit features mechanical locking in folded position, so once folded you do not need to worry, that the buttstock will get loose during handling.

Spacer

Should you decide that folding is something you do not need, in this case we can offer a special spacer to compensate the length of the folding unit without compromising the rigidity. It is also possible to fix the buttstock directly into the chassis. The length of pull adjustment in both AKILA buttstocks can compensate up to 35 mm of length.

ARCA Foreend

ARCA Foreend is a fully milled out of a 7075 T651 aluminium billet and has a black hard coat anodized finish. Handguard M is supplied with a take down upper bridge for top mounted accessories. The upper bridge is easily removed and can be installed in different positions to ensure optional distance between the scope and the front mounted accessories. The six sides of the foreend feature M-LOK™ mounting interface and QD sling swivel sockets at the very front, at 3 and 9 o’clock. The 6 o’clock side features a full length ARCA Swiss rail.

Foreend lite

Foreend Lite is machined out of 6061 T6 aluminium and has a black hard coat anodized finish. Foreend Lite was designed to optimise weight while maintaining rigidity and functionality. Foreend Lite features M-LOK™ interface on all 8 sides and QD sling swivel sockets at the very front, at 3 and 9 o’clock. Foreend Lite is a great fit for those who would prefer to lower the weight without compromising the functionality.
