Double Axis Folding Stock DAFS

You can add unique functionality to your stock by choosing AKILA DAFS, you can choose to which side it should fold the buttstock, should you change your mind, you can reconfigure the folding unit and reverse the folding side. The folding unit features a mechanical locking in folded position, so that a folded buttstock will not get loose unless you press the release button.

Suitable for all aluminum AKILA Chassis. When DAFS folded, the hole in the AKILA buttstocks will cover the bolt handle same as standard AKILA Folding unit.

Both installation points are compatible with AR-15 type buttstocks.

The folding unit has two axis to reduce the external dimensions. This is especially important for straight pull action rifles, as it allows for fold DAFS to the side of the bolt handle. The Movement of the bolt does not catch the folding unit. With the help of the gear connection, the hinges open smoothly and evenly.
