Description

THREE LOCKING LUGS

Three locking lugs design 60° bolt lift, two locking lugs rows on magnum calibers, quick detachable bolt heads.

CONVERSION SYSTEM

Barrel change or caliber conversion can be performed by the operator in field conditions within seconds by the means of a single Torx key. The receiver is machined from an aluminum billet, design ensures exact positioning and an increased surface contact area with the barrel.

3-POSITION SAFETY

FIRING position: The rifle is ready to fire.

SAFE position: The firing pin is cocked, the sear is disengaged. The bolt can be operated.

LOCKED position: The firing pin is cocked, the sear is disengaged. The bolt can not be operated.

The receiver of AKILA Alpha V is machined out of aluminium billet and has a black hard coat anodized finish and features QD sling swivels sockets on both sides above the pistol grip. The fittings (grip, central part cover, cheek piece, buttstock side panels) are optionally made of walnut wood, polymer (synthetic) or composites (carbon).

Either of the two available foreends is a separate piece attached to the chassis. M-LOK Foreend Lite was made with maximum functionality and weight optimisation and features M-LOK™ interface on all 8 sides while ARCA Foreend on 6 sides as well as a full length ARCA rail on the 6 o’clock. Both foreends feature QD sling swivel sockets at the very front, at 3 and 9 o’clock.

Both AKILA buttstocks are machined out of 7075 T651 aluminium billets and have a black hard coat anodized finish and features QD sling swivels sockets on both sides. Both buttstocks offer a possibility to adjust the cheek piece height and side, the length of pull, recoil pad height. Besides that Buttstock M features a built-in quick deployable and fine adjustable monopod and buttstock Lite has one MLOK™ slot to mount a monopod or a custom bag rider. The buttstock mounting point of the AKILA chassis is compatible with AR-15 receiver extensions, which will allow installing AR butt stocks. The buttstock folding can be user configured and folds to left or right sides of the chassis.

Buttstock Lite

Should you prefer a buttstock without monopod and at the same time you would like to save some weight without compromises in functionality AKILA Buttstock Lite is the best choice. The skeletonized design maintained outstanding rigidity and all the adjustments that the Buttstock M has in a lighter body. Besides that Buttstock Lite feature M-LOK™ slot on the bottom rail so you can attach a custom bag rider or a monopod.

You can use the configurator to choose optional buttstock features. Both buttstocks are milled from 7075 T651 aluminium billets and have black hard coat anodized finish. The buttstock mounting point of the AKILA chassis and the folding unit are compatible with AR-15 receiver extensions, which will allow installing AR butt stocks. Buttstock M offers the possibility to adjust the cheek piece height and side, the length of pull, recoil pad height. Besides that Buttstock M features a built-in quick deployable and fine adjustable monopod.

Polymer accents fittings are made from firearms grade black POM material. A rubberized grip produced by Ergo Grips is available in two models:

Walnut wood accent fittings are made from high grade walnut with oil finish. (Weight can slightly wary based on wood density).

Folding Unit

You can add unique functionality to your stock by choosing Folding Unit, you can choose which side to fold the buttstock. It is so natural to change your mind or want to adapt the rifle to a new environment or accessories, so we made the folding side user-configurable, within a couple of minutes you can reverse the folding side. The folding unit features mechanical locking in folded position, so once folded you do not need to worry, that the buttstock will get loose during handling.

Spacer

Should you decide that folding is something you do not need, in this case we can offer a special spacer to compensate the length of the folding unit without compromising the rigidity. It is also possible to fix the buttstock directly into the chassis. The length of pull adjustment in both AKILA buttstocks can compensate up to 35 mm of length.

AKILA Muzzle brake M18×1

The Muzzle brake is machined from high carbon steel with special nitriding surface treatment that increases surface hardness and enhances core strength and ensure improved wear and corrosion resistance.

The PMAG 10 7.62 AC is a reliable and durable polymer magazine for the .308 Winchester-based family of cartridges. Magazine is optimized for the .308 Winchester based family of cartridges and is compatible with short action AICS-spec bottom metal, to include the Bolt Action Magazine Well for the ACSR700, ACS1500 chassis and AV Alpha rifle.

AKILA Foreend Upper for AKILA ARCA Foreend, is an easy to mount part, rigid solution for ideal accessories placement. The Top Bridge has three edges featuring M-LOK™ mounting interface. Up to 2 units can be installed on the foreend.
